Overview

Setup

The following must be completed before data can be transferred to QuickBooks.

Processing

From Interact select Utilities | QuickBooks Sync and click the Connect to QB button. A window similar to the following will appear. Click the Transfer tab if not already selected. A window similar to the following will appear.


The Records Pending Sync section will display the number of cash tickets and invoices available to transfer.

Transferring cash transactions to QuickBooks is optional. The option to enable cash transaction transfers can be found in the Settings tab. 

Click the Run Sync button.

Interact will transfer all cash tickets and invoices to QuickBooks. If any errors occur only the cash tickets or invoices with errors will be excluded from the transfer. All valid cash tickets and invoices will be transferred.

Any errors during the transfer process will be displayed in the Sync Errors section.

Below is an example of two common errors.


The material Rainbow River Rock and the customer City of Albertville are not linked to a QuickBooks material or customer.

To establish a link for the missing material, click the Link tab, select the material in the Category | Material | Item list and click the Add Link to QB button.

To establish a link for the missing customer, click the Link tab, find the customer in the Account | Bill-To | Customer list and click the Add Link to QB button.

Once the errors have been fixed, return to the Transfer tab and click the Run Sync button again. When successful, the message Sync Completed will be displayed in the top right corner of the window.
