Jobs
Use the job setup window to change the title for the Job table or label for the PO and Release fields.
It is also used to set the feature "One Ticket Per Job" as the default value for new Jobs.
To change labels and set defaults, select Setup | Configure - Jobs. A window similar to the following will appear.
Title
Use this field to change the label for the job.
- For example, users may use a PO or BOL number for the job code and may wish to customize the label..
Click the 
Save button to save changes. Click the 
Undo button to cancel any changes.
Custom Fields
These additional fields can be treated like note fields and can be used to print additional information on tickets or to export required information for a 3rd party application.
Click the Save button to save changes. Click the Undo button to cancel any changes.
Miscellaneous
- Default new jobs to one ticket per job - When checked, all new jobs will automatically have this feature set.
- Default new job and quote items to use rates from the selected price table. - When checked, the "Use material rates from the selected price table" feature will set automatically.
- Ignore the job default price and use rates from the location's default price table. - When checked the Default Price field in the Job table will be ignored and unavailable. When Items are added to a job, Interact will populate the rate field with the material rate from the selected Location.
Ignore Job Default Price
It is recommended the "Ignore the job default price and use rates from the location's default price table" feature be used with the "Default new job and quote items to use rates from the selected price table" feature. In most cases the end user is likely trying to prevent custom pricing from getting added to job items. The end user will want to update the price table for a location and have all new transactions use the new rates in the price table. The end user will not be required to update rates for each item in every job.
- PO Label - Enter a different label for the PO field. Leaving it blank will not remove it from the Job table or Weigh form.
- Release Label - Enter a different label for the Release field. Leaving it blank will not remove it from the Job table or Weigh form.
Click the Save button to save changes. Click the Undo button to cancel any changes.
