General Weigh Window Information

Overview

After selecting Weigh from the menu bar, the first of two forms appears. The first form, Create Transaction, is used to start a transaction or select an open ticket for completion. A window similar to the following will appear.

The Create Transaction header contains the current date and time. Interact reads this information from the computer system. If the time or date is incorrect, exit Interact, change the system time and date and restart Interact.

Create Transaction - Start Transaction By

The Start Transaction By section is used to begin a new transaction. A new transaction can be started by entering a Truck id, selecting a Hauler from the drop-down list, or by selecting a Job from the drop-down list.

Weight Data

The Weight Data section will list all weight devices that can be used for processing weighed transactions. In addition to any digital weight indicators that have been configured through Setup | Devices, any simulator or manual scales configured through Setup | Weigh Options will also appear.

Only one scale type can be active at a time. Click the desired scale type to make a different selection.

Print Weight

The Print Weight button will print a ticket to the selected Ticket Printer when the ticket filename PrintWeightTicket.gtk exists. No transaction will be stored. The print weight ticket is designed to simply print the current date, time, scale, and current scale weight.

The scale weight will be printed in the unit of measure the indicator has been configured in, pounds or kilograms. The weight can be converted by a valid unit name within the square brackets. The following are valid ticket keywords.

• [Gross Tons]
• [Gross Metric Ton]

Weight Data - Setting 

Click the  setting button to open the Scale Settings flyout window.

Use these options to change the sort order for all digital weight indicators from ascending to descending and list all manual scale options before or after the digital weight indicator.

Continue Transaction - Open Transactions

Incomplete transactions will be listed in the Open Transactions section. To complete a transaction, Select it from the available list.

Open Transaction Configuration 

Click the gear button to customize database fields to appear with the Open Transaction. The Open Ticket List Settings flyout will appear.

General

The refresh open tickets interval is used to refresh the Open Ticket list table used in the Weigh form. The default value is five (5) seconds.

Fields Shown

To empty a slot, slide database fields from the slot to the gray area below. To fill an empty slot, slid new fields from the gray area into an available empty slot. Click the  Save button to continue.

Reprint Ticket

Use the Reprint Ticket button to reprint any ticket stored in the database. When clicked a flyout window similar to the following appears.

The last completed ticket will appear in the settings. Use the selections to pick a different machine and ticket number to be reprinted. 

Use the Format drop-down to pick a ticket format file other than the default format.

Use the Ticket Printer drop-down list to select a different printer to print the ticket to.

Click the  Reprint ticket button to reprint the ticket. Click the  Cancel button to close the flyout window.
