Voiding Credit Card Transactions Processed with Heartland

Transaction paid with a Credit/Debit Card cannot be edited once the card has been processed and the fee charged to the customer's credit card. The transaction can be voided when a transaction paid by credit card is incorrect. 

HOWEVER, Interact does not process the refund to the customer's credit card company. The credit MUST be processed through the /wiki/spaces/I6/pages/2819325953 Heartland on-line application. 

To void a transaction, click Quick Scan from the main menu or select Maintain | Transactions. A window similar to the following will appear.

Use the Transaction Criteria window find a transaction that meets the criteria parameters. Click the Search button to find the transaction.

Select the transaction from the View Transaction window. Click the  Edit Selected button.

Click the  Void Ticket button. The following message will appear.

Refund Process

Interact will not process a refund to the customer's credit card with other processing companies such as Heartland. The Interact transaction can be voiced, but the refund MUST be processed through the /wiki/spaces/I6/pages/2819325953 Heartland on-line application.
