Hardware Configuration
Connecting the Verifone Reader
The Verifone readers are IP based devices. It will require a Cat5 connection to the live internet. Once connected to the internet Interact will be able to find the device based on the IP address and serial number of the device.
Configuring the Verifone Hardware:
Add Device
Select Setup | Devices from the menu. Click the Devices tab. Click the Add button.
Select Credit Card Reader from the Choose Device Type drop-down list.
Click OK to continue. A window similar to the following will appear.
Enter a meaningful name for the reader. Select Adyen from the Device Type drop-down list.
A window similar to the following will appear.
Enter the IP address, Terminal ID, Key identifier, Key passphrase, and Store of the device.
Storing Credit Cards and Tokenization
Tokenization is a safe way to store credit card data by replacing card data with a jumble of letters and numbers that are useless to a hacker. To enable the ability to store credit cards enter the Store ID. To disable the feature, leave the Store ID blank.
Verifone Menu
Press 9 + the green 0 button on the Verifone device to enter the Verifone menu. Select Device info using the touch screen. The Serial Number and IP address will be listed. Enter the IP address as listed. The device type will need to precede the serial number.
Click the Save button.
The test button is not required for this device.
