Features
Use the Features window to select additional software features.
To open the Features window, select Setup | Weight Options | Features. A window similar to the following appears.
Machine
User logins with Administrator rights can make changes to any machine configured in the selected database. Click the drop-down arrow next to Machine to select a machine from the available list.
For example, two computers may be configured to process scale transactions. One computer is configured to process commercial transactions and may not require a printed ticket, the Immediate Ticket feature would be enabled for this computer. The second computer may be configured to process cash transactions, or transactions that require payment before they can leave the facility. These transactions would require a ticket be printed when the transaction is completed. The Immediate Ticket feature would not be enabled for this computer. A third computer may be set up for office use. A user with administrator rights could log into interact on the "office" computer and make these changes to the scale computers simply by selecting the Machine from the drop-down list.
General Features
Immediate Ticket
Check this box to print the ticket immediately without first showing the Print Ticket screen. This feature cannot be used with the Multiple Items per Ticket feature.
Multiple Items per Ticket
Check this box to allow multiple items per ticket. When multiple items are enabled, the Add Item button will be available on the Transaction Details window. This feature cannot be used with the Immediate Ticket feature.
Enable Ticket Hold
Check this box to allow completed tickets to be held in the open ticket list. For example, a completed cash ticket can be held in the open ticket list while your customer walks to the scale house to sign and pay for the ticket. The ticket can be retrieved from the open ticket list at that point and the payment can be recorded.
Allow Presettings (no weight)
Check this box to allow tickets to be placed in the open ticket list without any weight information. For example, you can start a ticket immediately upon the truck entering the yard by entering the truck id and clicking the store ticket button.
Assign Ticket # on Weigh Out
Normally, the ticket number is assigned on the weigh inside of the transaction. This does not work if you have ticket stock with preprinted numbers. Check this box to assign the ticket number on the weigh out.
List Materials with Rates Only
When checked, only materials with rates will appear in the drop-down list in the Transaction Details window.
Hide Charge Information on the Weigh Screen
When checked, the Pricing Details section of the Transaction Details window is hidden.
Cash Transactions
Charge information will appear in the Process Ticket Payment window for accounts where accounting terms are set to Cash Only. Operators will be able to collect payment and complete the transaction.
Job Features
List Jobs for Hauler Only
Normally, all jobs appear in the job drop down list. Check this box to display only those jobs attached to the selected hauler account. A second option to also list jobs for the Transient hauler account will appear. When checked jobs where the hauler account is set to Transient will appear in the drop-down list as well as any jobs for the selected hauler.
Selecting this option will automatically unselect the List Jobs for Bill-To Acct Only option.
List Jobs for Bill-To-Account Only
Normally, all jobs appear in the job drop down list. Check this box to display only those jobs attached to the selected bill-to account. Selecting this option will automatically unselect the List Jobs for Hauler Only option.
Automatically Add Job Items
A list of materials can be attached to a job. If a material is selected that is not on the list, the operator will be asked if it should be added. Check this box to automatically add a material to the job list and avoid being asked.
Limit Materials to Job Items
When checked, only the material items selected for a job will appear in the Weigh form Material drop-down list.
Click the Save button to save changes and continue. To undo any changes, click the Undo button.
Set Categories From Job User Fields
When active this feature will allow the user to set a value for a category or zone using the Custom Fields in the Job table.
Interact compares the label (names) of the Custom Fields enabled in the Job table to the User defined label (names) of the categories. If the names match, Interact will attempt to set the Category to the value stored in the Custom Field in the Job table.
Go to the Set Categories from Custom Job User Feilds (JobtoCategory) page for additional information and configuration.
