The following error could indicate a change in the IP address. 

Click the  Cancel button to continue. The following message will appear. Click the  Cancel button again to continue.

Verify the IP address is correct in the device setup. Select Setup | Devices. Click the Devices tab. Select Credit Card Device ECC from the list. Verify the IP address matches the IP address of the device.

Verifone Setup

Press 9 + Green (O) button on the reader to enter the reader menu. Select Device Info on the touch screen. Compare the IP address on the screen to the IP address in Interact. Edit the IP address in Interact if different. Press the red X on the reader to exit the menu.
